Streamline Communication

Streamline CommunicationAccurate and timely patient information and trauma service preparation are valuable assets in providing optimal patient care and improving recovery rates. Hospitals use Web-based Hospital Dashboard to access the ePCR from ambulance services in PDF format for patients as they arrive. Hospital Dashboard connects with EMS Service Bridge™ and EMS Field Bridge™ to offer online viewing of the EMS pre-hospital patient care report as well as many additional benefits:

  • Allows hospital staff to know which patients are en route
  • Provides time to prepare space and treatment
  • Additional doctors and staff can be called in before patients arrive during mass casualties or major traumas
  • Facilitates improved care for patients and allows hospital staff to better manage emergency care

Initially hospitals were skeptical; however the advantage of receiving patient condition information as it is available in the field is a benefit to patient care that they all understand. This understanding is making the integration of the Hospital Dashboard into their processes feasible.

Accurate and timely patient information and trauma service preparation are valuable assets in providing optimal patient care and improving recovery rates. Hospital Dashboard links ambulance services to receiving emergency departments via a secure connection, eliminating the need to fax or print ePCRs for inbound patients. Hospital Dashboard shares data with EMS Service Bridge™ and EMS Field Bridge™ for an early warning and heads-up patient arrival board.
