About the Presenter Kevin Crocker
Division Chief of Quality and Process Improvement | Montgomery County Hospital District
Kevin Crocker LP, FACPE is the Division Chief of Quality and Process Improvement for the Montgomery County Hospital District in Conroe Texas. Kevin has over 25 years of prehospital experience and has been a paramedic for 20 years. Kevin is also a Fellow of the American College of Paramedic Executives. His primary interest is in clinical quality improvement. Kevin is active in contributing to the advancement of the EMS field through prehospital research. Kevin has published multiple journal articles, is a contributor to the MCHD Paramedic Podcast, and has presented in multiple national EMS webinars.
About the Presenter Nicolas Smith
Division Chief – Clinical | Montgomery County Hospital District
Nick Smith is Division Chief-Clinical, for the Montgomery County Hospital District. He is a Houston native who began his EMS career in 2013. He has experience in various aspects of EMS including as a 911 dispatcher, Communications Training Officer, Captain – Field Training Officer, and Assistant Operations Chief.
Chief Smith holds two Bachelor’s degrees: double science major at Texas A&M and a bachelor’s in computer science. Additionally, he completed his Masters in Data Science from Eastern University. Chief Smith has a passion for the clinical aspect of EMS and using data to enhance the care MCHD provides the community.
